HOUND SCHOOL
Hound School has two main aims these are;
To promote understanding between people and their dogs.
To teach dogs using positive and kind methods only. We specialise in teaching dogs through games and activities.
Our services include;
- Dog behaviour consultations; these are conducted in your home and are a cost effective and effective way of starting to understand and resolve your dogs erratic or undesirable behaviour.
- 1-1 training; for puppies, adolescents and dogs of all ages. Notes and handouts are provided for any training sessions so you can refer back to the steps that you need to take while training a particular task.
- Social/training walks; walks are conducted with dogs who are skilled in canine communication so that if your dog is boisterous and disrespectful to other dogs and lacks social graces he/she can learn the correct ways to behave around other dogs.
- Canine Bowen Therapy; please see the Bowen pages for more information.
- Dog Activity afternoons; dog activities are devised to build a bond with your dog and help you understand how your dog’s brain works!
- Training clinics and workshops throughout the year; the topics vary from recall work to lead work and are a mixture of practical and theory.
- Talks on canine related issues; we are happy to give talks to groups, clubs or rescue organisations.
