During an Equine Bowen session all major muscle groups are worked on. This helps to relax the horse, and they often "drop" one side of the body nearest to the therapist to get maximum benefit (as in Picture 3)
Working over the triceps, and deltoids, helps to release muscle tension and spasms that the horse may have sustained from hard work, or an incorrectly fitted saddle.
Horses often respond to EBT by "tiger striping", this indicates lymphatic drainage is taking place
